i drove around today, on my birthday, and took a trip down memory lane. i drove through the neighborhood i spent my vegas summers in, running around the blocks with my cousins. stopping at 7-11 to get slurpees and candy, and as i got older, cigarettes. i'm totally stuck in the past today, but for once, it's all good memories. i've lived an interesting enough life. anytime i look back i wonder how i ever got to where i am now. always changing. i know another big change is coming very soon, but i'm not sure what it will be yet. i just know it's on it's way. just hoping i weather it better than the hot summer with it's sticky asphalt.
