i am not so self-absorbed at this moment to not realize that he has not responded. all i want is a hello and a question as to how i'm doing. funny that i'm reminded of a similar lack of reaction with someone else i was dating, the last time i was in the same hospital. do they all run when things seem serious? i'm not dying, but if i was, would he even call then?
